Yeah, the only movie worthy of the Street Fighter moniker so far was the one with Sonny Chiba from the 70's.

I liked "Street Fighter II: The animated movie". Besides that though Sonny Chiba's Street Fighter is the only good one.

Oh yeah, the anime was fine. I was going a little outside of the box with the old one anyway, since it has nothing to do with the game series. But yeah, the anime is really the only rendition to "get it" as they say.

I bought the Alpha anime movie when it came out and didn't like it all. My roommate was bored last week and broke it out to watch it. He didn't like the Alpha movie either. I was expecting it to be along the goodness of SF II: animated movie.

Whilst bored in Iraq, myself and a platoon mate debated what the "true" name of the Spinning Bird Kick was. A stupid videogame conversation devolved into us being pissed off. Turned out we were both technically right, as I said Spinning Bird Kick and he said Whirlwind Kick.
