i need some good psx games, because as of now i see the psx as a worthless hunk of plastic that was junk when it was new and doesn't even deserve to be crapped in.

You know, because all I have is Final Fantasy 9 and Crash Bandicoot 2. >:

ill get all the obvious ones out of the way first:

-final fantasy (most of the psx ones are good)
-tomb raider (the first and the second one to a lesser extent)
-castlevania: SOTN
-resident evil series (bar the first person ones)
-Metal gear solid

some personal faves:
-silent bomber
-harvest moon
-time crisis
-broken sword 1+2

I already have MGS and Resident Evil on the gamecube :(

Also, do you fucking know how much the decent playstation final fantasies cost these days? The lowest price on FF7 I can find on the internet is 68 dollars. >:

And I already have the PC Tomb Raiders, so yeah. I think I made a thread about how scary TR3 was a while ago.

But yeah, I'll probably get castlevania, so thanks.

Also, is Iron Core any good? I played a little bit once, and I liked what I saw :o

ff7 in a game store costs like 10 bucks because of over-production. If you can't find one cheaper than 68 dollars then that is the first probably price you saw and then congratulated yourself for being a fanboy and knowing that it was the best FF ever all along. Then you went to sleep on your bed of anime.

Azure Dreams is fun if you're into action-RPGs.

not the best game but certainly entertaining and unique.

-Medievil was actually pretty good...I played it again just recently and liked beating the stained glass boss...plus all the sidequests/secret areas were fun

Mega Man X4, Symphony of the Night, and Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions are the only games I enjoyed enough to hold onto.

I've heard good things about parappa but then again I fucking hate rhythm games so yeah >:

there are so many fucking psx games, i think the only system that has more is the nes or 2600. so its more like waht kind of game are you looking for, then people can tell you what to get. my list....

Right now I'm craving some really good adventure games, but the only two I can think of that have anything to do with sony are Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and those are on PS2.

I dont like Rythym games either and that goes double time for Parappa the rapper because the controls always felt a little fishy to me. Even so, parappa is definetly worth getting.

Just get the demo CD which comes with the psx. It has a t-rex which you can move about and make its mouth open and stuff its awsome

the playstaion had the best controler ever. Then it was slightly improved for the PS2.

the playstation was cool and going from a megadrive (genesis) to a playstation is a preatty big jump i still play some ps1 games now

never played any silent hill games only demos of them :(
