That was called "Frailty." Not half bad! And the kid who played young Matthew McConaughey is from here: good ol' Mount Sterling, KY. That's pretty much our claim to fame! Well, that and the fabulous one-hit-wonder 70's group Exile.

McConaughey is also in A time To Kill and Tropic Thunder. His only two movies I actually can stand

This is one of those movies that winds up like Gymkata for me: I always, always, always come in at the dinner scene (and the Village of the Crazies in Gymkata.) The first time I saw it, I didn't know what to expect and therefore yeah, it did manage to creep me out, especially with the head-stepping scene. I remember Leatherface laughing in the chair and wondering if it was supposed to be Leatherface. And then the ending is just...I don't know. I really don't know. *shakes head* And people wonder why I avoid horror sequels.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the movies that really needed a remake.

I remember seeing this as well. God I wish I hadn't. The Illuminati dude takes the cake for me in random inexplicable dumb bullshit, specially when he unbuttons his shirt. Surprised this isn't sold in the comedy sections, because it sure as hell isn't scarey.

Maybe if they had actually made it looke like Leatherface was wearing someone's skin, and not just some random fat chick, it'd probably be a LITTLE bit creepy. But no... he just looks like some frumpy pissed-off fat lady with bad make-up.

I was so bored by this movie.

I absolutely loved the first one, I have not seen any of the sequels. My brother said the second is lame but when he said there was a chainsaw duel between Dennis Hopper and Leatherface I'll probably have to go see it. I will probably end up watching this piece of shit because that is what I do. Sometimes I find art in shit, but this one...well I will have to with hold my opinion until I see it.
