I-Mockery Forum - FORUM EVENT: "CHARLES IN CHARGE STORYTIME!"

Our latest I-Mockery forum event has arrived, and this one is for the CHARLES IN CHARGE - SEASON ONE DVD SET. See Charles try to make sense of his life while Willie "Bibleman" Aames always gets them into all sorts of wacky mischief!

THE CHARLES IN CHARGE STORYTIME ADVENTURE!

The goal is to birth a story using manipulations of various Charles In Charge photos (this can include screenshots from the show, promotional stills of the various actors, magazine pictures... basically whatever you can find.). Look at what other people have posted and create your continuation of the story! Considering how long the show ran and its popularity (not to mention "Buddy" being the star of "Bibleman"), it shouldn't be hard to find plenty of material to make this out to be a really amusing story!

You have until April 15th, 2006 to make your contribution to the story.

After the story is completed, it will go up on the I-Mockery.com frontpage as a new article to be viewed by all! (this is pending it's actually worth posting on the site, so make your posts good ones!)

Additionally, we (the admins) will vote for 'best picture' and give out the prize!

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

Anyone with a registered I-Mockery.net account can participate.

RULES FOR PARTICIPATION

1. No "not safe for work" material.
Do not post anything that you wouldn't show your grandmother. We at i-mockery love our grandmothers. And yours.

2. .JPG and .GIF file formats only.
No .bmp, .png, .tga, or whatever else you assholes are going to try to pull.

3. No hotlinking.
The image uploader for this event is linked at the bottom of this post, so please use that to upload your pictures. Do not host them on your own space.

4. No outside captioning.
All of your text should be included INSIDE the image. Try to use the "Comic Book Commando" font (which can be downloaded HERE) when you are including narrative text such as "Later that day...", "Elsewhere...", etc. It's not a requirement, per se, but it will definitely make the story look better in the long run.

[b]5. Images must include content involving characters who appeared in the "Charles in Charge" TV series. As stated before, this can include screenshots from the show, promotional stills of the various actors, magazine pictures, photos of the actors from "Charles In Charge" in other shows that they starred in (example: Buddy was in "Bibleman" TV series)... basically whatever you can find
Not your artistic interpretation of the characters.

6. Images must be equal to or below 600 pixels in width.
So that you don't stretch out peoples' web browsers who run in 800x600 resolution. Also, make sure your image file sizes are within 300k.

7. Maximum of 2 pictures per post, but unlimited posts allowed.
If you have an idea that really needs a couple pictures to flesh it out, feel free to post two pictures to do it. This does not mean that you only get to make two pictures in the story - You can post as many times as you like. Provided...

8. Do not post twice in a row.
Let other people create the story too; Let at least one other person post before you add to the story.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Images created in any digital editing program are accepted, be it Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, MSPaint, or others. We only ask that it be of somewhat reasonable quality and that it continues the storyline being created by the other forum members.

Here's how you participate:
- Read the story thus far
- Create an image that includes something "Charles In Charge" related in it somewhere
- Upload your image using the program included at the bottom of this post
- Post your contribution in this thread and include the name of the poster whose story you are continuing. (This will always be the last poster in the thread.)
