The ban was for asking for e-mails to invite people to Lockerz, btw. Lockerz is a site that supposedly gives out electronics (games, DSes, PSPs, etc.) to promote a viral marketing campaign, and you get the points to get the stuff by referring others. You also can't sign up without a referral.

When you sign up, you get about 30 points.
When you refer someone, you get 2 points.
When you sign in each day, you get 2 points.
When you answer their daily question, you get 2 points.
After you refer 20 people, your points are doubled from then on.

The prizes I can see right now are:
Various videogames (100pts each)
Bigscreen LCD TVs (3000pts each)
iPods (300pts each)
Skateboards and footwear and shit (225-375pts)
Tickets to see some gay band (wtf)

So yeah, if you put up with this for a week or something you get a free video game afaik.
