tl;dr incoming
Man, I love sprite based games as much as the next guy, but holy shit. Too much.
Also, the description for Hohokum kinda reminds me of what regular people on TV in the early 90s thought all video games were like: batshit insane randomfests.

EDIT: Oh holy crap, Capcom finally remembered who Captain Commando is.
Also, not sure if you're being serious or not with calling Spiderman and co. DC characters.

Also also, the Neo-Geo picture reminds me: what did you think of the last Samurai Shodown game, RoG?

PreApocalyptica - Thought it was obvious I was joking about Spidey since the booth was promoting the Marvel Heroes game stuff, but text doesn't always translate well online haha.

Hohokum is all about exploring without any clear goal, but it really is a beautiful game that I'm sure anybody would enjoy playing.

As for Samurai Shodown, the last one I really enjoyed a lot was part IV. Haven't had a chance to spend time on Samurai Spirits Sen though (I assume that's the one you're talking about).

Sorry, man. Didn't mean to ruin the joke.

And yeah, that's the one I meant. We got it translated as Edge of Destiny, because singular japanese syllables aren't cool enough for us.

So what'd you think of it? How does it compare to the previous Samurai Shodown installments?

Nice E3 recap! Every time you post pictures of the different consoles and tabletop games I'm amazed at how many I've never seen before. And of course, R.I.P. Mr. Shark.
