hello,

Sethomas Jan 30th, 2007 04:50 AM

So my girlfriend and I broke up because we both wanted to expand our dating horizons and I'm already looking for new people and such, but the fact that she's avidly looking for new people too seems quite fine with me at the rational level but kind of bothers me at the emotional level. Emotions are stupid huh.

ArrowX Jan 30th, 2007 05:10 AM

You should drown your sorrows in Ice Cream, fat women do it all the time.

liquidstatik Jan 30th, 2007 05:37 AM

emotions tend to get in the way of rational thought quite often ;<

I bottle up my emotions. So I wouldn't know.

Talking of new things,

I bought a totally cool new keyboard recently. It's got lights and buttons and everything.

Emu Jan 30th, 2007 12:12 PM

that keyboard is phat

MetalMilitia Jan 30th, 2007 12:24 PM

I know right.

Chojin Jan 30th, 2007 12:49 PM

am i the only person that thinks the logitech logo makes things look cheap

MetalMilitia Jan 30th, 2007 01:19 PM

Not when it's etched into a £150 (~30,000 US Dollars) keyboard :p

Chojin Jan 30th, 2007 01:22 PM

It does, though, which is why I bring it up.

MetalMilitia Jan 30th, 2007 01:26 PM

I think Logitech have a fairly decent reputation and the logo is attractive enough. Although I can see what you're saying. It's no Apple logo.

Chojin Jan 30th, 2007 01:27 PM

it just looks really stupid and un-pro to me ;<

MetalMilitia Jan 30th, 2007 01:44 PM

Perhaps because it's a bit busy and I'm not sure exactly what it's supposed to be - I guess a web cam or something. Either way it could do with some simplificaton.

ANYWAY, back to the exciting matter of my new keyboard -

It's got a laptop style touch pad (with a light around it!):

...and a volume control which you just slide your finger across as if you where caressing a baby snake (also including lights which follow your finger).

Chojin Jan 30th, 2007 01:55 PM

yeah, but who would use either of those things? anyone with a half-decent sound system has a volume knob in a breakout box ;<

MetalMilitia Jan 30th, 2007 01:59 PM

But this keyboard be used to adjust volumes and whatnot at a range of about 10-30 feet.

Are your arms that long Chojin? 10-30 feets?

I suspect not. >:

Esuohlim Jan 30th, 2007 02:02 PM

Stick with the metric system pal ain't no such thing as feets
