text ad driving ban

text and driving ban takes effect in massachusetts on 9/30 with junior drivers facing most serious charge. 1st time offender will get hit with $100 fine, 60 day license suspension and attitudinal courses. I hope massachusetts wont create laws for eating tacos and driving.

or playing air guitar and drumming while listening to music and driving

breast feeding and driving

I know I'm in favor of harsh punishment for texting and riving. I don't think you should eat and drive either. Fucking pay attention to the road.

It's coming into effect in Maryland too.

The "mad wanker" was a dude in Philly who would pull alongside a woman's vehicle on the interstate, and, while driving at speed, proceed to jerk off. I'm thinking that should be banned as well.

Tadao Sep 24th, 2010 04:51 PM

Errrr, I think it is already illegal to do that.

Fathom Zero Sep 24th, 2010 05:18 PM

There are already driving while distracted laws. This is just getting added to it.

I fail to see how this will protect us from terrorism.

:lol

Michigan already banned texting and driving back in July. I know a couple people personally who were involved in an accident due to driving while texting, and in both cases it was the other party's fault.

I think it's a great idea, but this is coming from someone with a phone from 2005 and no interest in texting anyway. Or driving for that matter.

Isn't he still at large driving that yellow car (I think) of his?

Zhukov Sep 25th, 2010 10:50 AM

Pretty sure it's been illegal here since the invention of the telephone.
