I played this and took it back within an hour. Bored the shit outta me. If you want zombies, just stick to a Valve title.

By that COOL combo stuff I was assuming that the combat system was nothing more than a clone of the Devil May Cry series, considering how screwing up can actually mess with your progress. Fortunately, DMC at least gives you the advantage of not losing it for failing to make a well-timed slash.

What Burn said. I think I played it for 20 minutes. Wretched game. Can only see it being fun if you don't play many games and don't know what you're missing.

Blerg. I had the misfortune of buying this game for the Wii, and even though I only played it for about 45 minutes, I think I suffered permanent wrist damage. As far as I'm concerned, it is physically impossible to get a COOL combo with the Wiimote because the Wii's sensing bar doesn't always register properly and as Dr. Boogie pointed out you have to strike at exactly the right time. I bought the game in the first place because I'd just gone through a break-up and wanted to wantonly destroy things in video game form, but this game didn't even satisfy that desire. Seriously, this was one of the worst games I've ever played.

I can't even imagine trying to nail the combo system on the wii.

If it's wanton destruction you want, your best bet these days would have to be Red Faction Guerrilla. Sadly not for the Wii, which is really too bad. I can't think of a better use for the wiimote than controlling a sledgehammer you use to manually tear down buildings.
