Great gallery, as always! I can never get to Comic-Con so your photos are definitely appreciated. Someday I hope to make it there and meet you guys, you seem like you have a great time!
|
Good pictures! I saw at least 25 things that I probably would have wanted to buy. If I do go next year I'm going to have to save up a lot of money.

Goddamnit, who dresses up as an MSPaint Adventures character
The worst costume |
This was a beautiful article and -RoG-, you once more outdid yourself with a veritable phototour of the event. On behalf of all of thus who have crap cars and thus could not attend, I salute you.
Also am I the only one that was immediately and irrevocably reminded of Max Burbank by the crying Macho Man picture? Just wondering. |
Thanks for the good moments captured, as always -Rog-, Maybe, just maybe, I'll go there someday, and take my kid with me, as we both enjoy watching the pics. He gets so exited and asks many questions. As I explain what's going on on that nerd heaven, I suddenly feel my eyes kinda watery. I totally understand Max.

The picture from Page 3, with the caption "MADNESS!" Is that... is that Screech!?
|
thats no wand, thats a sonic screwdriver!

THANK you for posting all these.
Now I feel like I didn't skip this year... but I DID skip the traffic, crowds and lines. Bless you, sir. |
Thanks again for another amazing gallery of pictures!! I'll probably never attend, what with my paranoia of getting crushed in a crowd and all, but your pics and captions are seriously the next best thing!
I loved the guys dressed up as Dr. Forrester and Frank, but it's hard to pick any favorites (ok, maybe the zombie candy machines)! |
Oh man, that was awesome! I wish I'd been able to go this year. I'm jealous. :(
Hopefully next year I can make it back out though. |
The best costume was Lobo.

Jesus Christ, I must have those Joker High-Tops.

As always super job Rog. I can honestly say that you provide more photos and coverage than any other website that I have visited. It always looks like a blast ever year and this year was no different. On a side note, how was it that they allowed guys in just superman undies into that place? I know the idea is to have fun and be creative but seriously there's kids that go there too. I'm surprised that half of the people that go there dressed half naked like that don't get asked to put on some clothes or get arrested. Still, coming from a guy who sadly lives on the east coast and could never go cross country to attend, I personally thank you for all the great pictures and great descriptions of each and every moment. Makes me feel like I was right there with you all. Can't wait for next year.

Honestly, if they ask the guys in skimpy clothes to put on some more clothes, they'd have to ask the girls too (& nobody wants that) otherwise it's just sexism. Yeah, the guys are showing more skin, but it's about the same as if you went to the beach, & nothing inappropriate is hanging out

when is the abobo's big adventure is coming out?
|
On page 17...is that a Warren Ellis puppet? Tell me it is.
Great gallery, as always. Made all the better because this is the first year since 2004 that I haven't been able to go. |
I never thought I would see Vash the Stampede alongside Powergirl AND Supergirl. Thanks for the pictures, guys.
|
I got a laugh at "The Red Balloon" DVD for sale on the bottom of page 24. I have to ask, did they have "Part 2 Revenge of the Red Balloon" for sale too?
|
I really have to say "big" does not begin to describe this album, but I loved looking through the pics. Excellent and although I say this every year, I will make it to sdcc some day.
