Thanks for the tip I will find this! All comic fans should try to read some of kirbys stuff. I just want to point out that superman is getting hit in the dick with a motorcycle in that picture.

For being Superman's "Pal", there sure are a lot of covers of Olsen trying to kill him.

After I complete my robot army and take over the world (I am authorized to offer a coupon book with over $500 in savings to anyone who supports me) one of my first acts will be to construct a new Rushmore-like monument to all the greatest comic book creators who have ever lived.

So far I'm including Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Bob Kane, Frank Miller, Joe Shuster, Jerry Siegel, William Moulton Marston and Steve Ditko. That's already more than twice as many people as Rushmore has, so mine is clearly better.

Anyone who suggests another person who is accepted will be given dominion over a small country. Or more spikes welded to your motorcycle, your choice.

John Byrne

If John Byrne is accepted, could I get a small province in Poland? Being that my ancestors were banished from there, I thought it'd be ironic if I could return to rule a portion of it.

Poland it is. Be sure to quell the rebels there, or they'll break into your castle and unscrew all your light bulbs.

Kirby, Kane, Shuster, Seigel are all good, probably Ditko too. Stan Lee I love but I am not sure if he is truly a genius or just a hack who hung with geniuses. Gaiman is great but I think we need to wait 20 years to see if his works are actually considered classics. Not sure who Marston is honestly.

Now for Moore and Miller. As we get farther and farther from the 80s I think these two get less and less talented. Moore latest works have been bizarre and Miller has went bat shit crazy.

Dirty Hairies and those damn clones!

I think Kirby's best later years was Satan's Six, but he never really got that game goin'

I only cared for Kirby when he was paired with Stan Lee.

I wonder if this is the forum for one of you guys to review superhero novels such as "Soon I Will Be Invincible" "Superfolks" and "Joe Gosh"
