Official Post Yer Picture Here CS Thread

Alright dudes, I didn't know so many people here played CS. Who can/wants to play? 1.6 or Source?

kahljorn Mar 30th, 2007 11:49 AM

i dont have source :(
is it possible to get it for free/play free online?

Sacks Mar 30th, 2007 01:44 PM

I think most people have 1.6 anyway. Do you have steam? Whats your account name?

My harddrive got wiped a while back so I'm not exactly sure. I'm reinstalling it though so I'll post it in a little bit.

when you install/use counter-strike source is there a cd-key requirement or anything?

Sacks Mar 30th, 2007 03:23 PM

If you bought it and installed it before on the same account you can download it without needing the CD key.

Fathom Zero Mar 30th, 2007 03:54 PM

How about if you bought the disc before steam, as in the Platinum GOTY Edition Half-Life Set?

noob3 Mar 30th, 2007 04:21 PM

i havn't played since before they had the new rifles :(

Sacks Mar 31st, 2007 12:14 AM

Well you'll have to put in the reg codes into steam, but after that you should be set. I haven't played 1.6 in so long it's embarrassing.

I'm in I haven't played regular CS in a while

I'll have to reinstall everything tho.

I don't play any more. It's neither slow, nor fast paced enough for me to enjoy it. Although a while back I started playing CS:S with the death match plug-in and that was a bit more fun.
