You managed to write a review of this without once using the word "depressing." Impressive.

I'll have to check this out sometime, as I enjoy off-beat comics. I am no fan at all of the "Spandex Brigade". This book seems to comics like Perfect Blue is to anime. You'll just have to see it.

Hey! Sounds interesting, it even got 5 out 5 pickles!
Picklishious! |
wow, something not ridiculous or awesome, but artistic. this is a good change fromt he regular. it looks like something that could be made into a nicely narratedc cartoon of the artsy sort, but not a film or novel. excellent looking. i must look it up next time im at the store.

It has to be a great comic if it's worth 5 pickles.
Oh wow 5 pickles! Guess I gotta go find this now. After reading Watchmen I have made it a rule that if it gets five pickles it gets bought!
Pretentious, boring, whiny piece crap. Almost as bad as Catcher in the rye.
Sorry you feel so threatened. We'll be back to the superhero reviews soon enough.
Soon enough isn't soon enough.
Yeah Proto, how DARE you bring something relatively unknown into the spotlight!
ex-girlfriend liked it. Rules out any chance of me ever reading it.
Hmm, looks pretty interesting. I love the wrider comic set (not a huge fan of the superhero ones past Watchmen. I know, I know, I'm a heretic, but I just don't dig them). I'll give this a look next time I'm around the graphic novels aisle.

I actually really loved this. When I used to work at Media Play I would sit around and read this. Never got a chance to finish it (or buy it) and after a few years I forgot the name of it. I'm going to go out and get this during the weekend. Thanks Proto!
