The only boris albums that sound somewhat like pink is Heavy Rocks & Akuma no Uta. Everything else goes in different directions.

the entire ed banger label is the most musically exciting thing to happen for me in years. embracing dirty, distorted bass and prime beats and a thoroughly trashy sound that has no reservations about being loud, crude, and blatantly sexual. mr oizo has found his real weird and real true niche in embracing the cheap and ugly with his sparse and unfiltered productions. moustache/half a scissor is an amazing album. anyway the last album i bought has nothing to do with them because they're all just a collection of eps and compilations so far. but i did get "person pitch" by panda bear. one of the members of animal collective decided to go brian wilson with extra weird thrown in. sounds great. |
Ministry - Keianh
|
The Panderers - Songs That Bang
The Go! Team - Thunder, Lightning, Strike |
