Chicago is cool
 

I went there for the first time last weekend, stayed at a fancy hotel, and ate a $200 dinner with my parents to celebrate my dad's upcoming retirement. We also saw the Blue Man Group (I'm auditioning to play guitar for them in two years) and some improv comedy and watched the Chicago River get dyed green for St. Paddy's Day.

Was the improv troupe The Second City, by chance? I've seen them twice, they are gods of comedy.

No, we went to ImprovOlympic. Pretty average, but there were a couple of winners.

We went to see them turn it green too.
