How the fuck did this guy get ANYWHERE?

This was like watching a really horrific Evening at the Improv from 1987. One of those "I think it would go something like this" comedians. I'm just so dumbfounded that I can't further elaborate on why this guy sucks. Help.

He is the guy that won some reality show where a group of comedians live in a house and they are eliminated one by one. I thought he sucked big time so I stopped watching the show :(

I love Asian comedians. They always have a good old Asian man impression. They make fun of their parents a lot, too. I thought he was pretty good. Not fantastic, but good enough.

That's it, though. All he has is his Asian sterotype voice. No great jokes or anything. Without the voice, he has no act. Hell, the only reason he won that show was because everyone felt sorry for him because Rich Vos and the others teasing him mercilessly.

Rich Vos or Ralphy should have won that show. :(

Eventhough I bet they will have a better career than Dat Phag.

Ralphy sucked fucking ass. I watched the last show, and he was all "Lets stop making fun of fat people and make fun of skinny people for not eating." No, how about we keep making fun of fat people for being smelly blobs of shitty and love skinny people because we want to sleep with them! Seriously, he even made a joke about how skinny Ally McBeal was like 4 years after the show was off the air.

I really wanted him to be in the finals, but then he wasn't and I was sad. :(

My second choice was Dave Mordal, but people had a boner for Dat Phan and he was kicked off too. >:

I don't know why Rich Vos was on that show. He had a Comedy Central special prior to the whole Funniest Person in America shit. :rolleyes

Yeha i wanted peppitone in there too, whenever he does shit on conan i piss my pants. Mordal was another one, but all lost to the asian.

Rich Vos already had a comedy special so he didn't need to win.

I read in the paper that some comedians are saying the game was rigged, at least the sequel and alot of the good comics that the professionals like didnt make the first cut to a bunch of fresh faced goons, figures.

When is "Dat's my Dat!" COmicg to NBC, didn't he get a sitcom deal, i bet you dollars to donuts Dat will play his own mom.

I'll bet you everything I have that it will be canceled in a few weeks.

Remeber that beginning where he cried during his interview about them being poor, no one else acted that pathetic (excpet peppitone, but he did it in a funny way). Nbc just gave him the show from then on.

I ask the same question about Mitch Hedberg.

Holy crap has anyone else noticed that he's made the same joke about him pissing, every time he's gotten up on stage >:

All his jokes were about his mother being more asian than he is. It's kinda of a chuckle but not the best standup ive sit through...

I love Mitch Hedburg. :(

Hahaha, there I have to disagree with you. This is what sold me on Mitch:

Well, they played to different audiences every time. So to them, it's a fresh joke!

ii think he's pretty damn funny though and his delivery works very well :(

Hedburg is hilarious, but dat just is not that funny. If i saw him in a comedy club opening for someone, that would be cool, cuz i laughed a few times, but not nearly enough to warrant his own special.

I think he ruins jokes all the time by not making any in the first place. >:
