In australia we get the best of both worlds. Its called a cold shot. A heavy beer with a shot of vodka in it. Best beer ever :)

lol 21... who are you kidding? most people stop growing LONG before then. Where I live, its 19, and thats still too old.

Americans have it weird: they expect you to die in wars before your 21, and being shot in the head a lot worse than a few drinks every so often.

I hate stupid adults always imposing stupid age restrictions on things. People get it ANYWAY. No amount of laws or police will change that.
Anyway I never really drank before i was 18 and i still dont now. its too expensive and I dont like being drunk.

American beer sucks btw. Coors tastes like urine.

If the drinking age were 18, college students would be even dumber than they are now. I'm here right now, and most of the people who aren't 21 yet really don't need to be able to buy booze. Better to wait until they're getting over the whole hardcore party scene (at about 21 years old) to let them do it legally.

While women usually cap off at the ages of 14 to 16, the male gender continues their development into their mid-twenties.
Maturity is a factor as well in the drinking age; who is mentally able enough to decide how much to drink. You alone are reason enough to justify the current drinking age.
