Sci-Fi action film based on anime from the 70's. Looks to have a lot of style behind it. Just came out in theatres over in Japan, and I wonder if we'll catch wind of it here.

I don't know why I had the title as Casshan. It's Casshern.

Aside from the main character, it doesn't look like it'll be related to the anime (Casshan: Robot Hunter).

Casshan's actually a different movie. This should be based on the movie I linked from IMDB. Casshan (http://imdb.com/title/tt0281699/) appears to be loosely based on that movie as well.

So it is supposed to be related to the anime because the anime is related to the 70's movie, and this movie is also related to the 70's movie.

Casshern is based on Shinzô ningen Kyashân, and Casshan is of some relation to Shinzô ningen Kyashân as well, though I don't know to what degree.

Casshern (A) is based off of Shinzô ningen Kyashân (B).

Casshan (C) is based off of Shinzô ningen Kyashân(B).

If A=B, and B=C, then A=C.

Therefore, Casshan is related to Casshern.

You were saying that Casshern doesn't seem to be too closely related to Casshan, which is correct. Both Casshern and Casshan come from the original anime series. Casshern seems to be more closely adapted than the anime movie was, though.

Lets talk about our favorite parts of the trailer to bump it too two pages.

I liked it when his mouth dealy clicked together and when he cut through the robot with his hand.

Also, is the movie made? is it coming to america? or are we going to have to suffer until Tarentino brings the special addtion to amercia.

Or will the DVD have subtitles?

It very recently hit Japanese theatres, so if it does get an American audience, it will probably be some time before it's brought over. And I don't believe there would be subtitling at this time, so trying to find it online would probably be pointless.

I also liked that part where the camera goes down the length of the sword and it makes that whoosh sound.
