Majoras mask

i love this game, i borrowed my friends collecters disk and got to play my favorite zelda game again.

ArrowX May 23rd, 2004 05:25 AM

That game sucked. all your in it is to see the little naked boy at the end :(

Comrade Rocket May 23rd, 2004 05:45 AM

I hate you

Comrade Rocket May 23rd, 2004 05:46 AM

Your not allowed to post in my threads anymore.

Shostie May 23rd, 2004 10:46 AM

I played that a while back. I got up to the third (I think) dungeon with all the water and pipes and swtiches and all. Then, after 2 days of wandering aimlessly, I finally figured out what I had to do to get to the boss. I did so, and was promptly killed.

Then I threw the controller away angrilly and vowed never to play it again.

Emu May 23rd, 2004 01:13 PM

The only Zelda games worth playing are the first one and Link to the Past. :/

Krythor May 23rd, 2004 01:34 PM

MM is the second best, jerkface.

Comrade Rocket May 23rd, 2004 03:50 PM

I thought it was the best, because it had better graphics. A better (I think) story than any other Zelda before it, and cooler boss fights.

In all other games, you knew you had to save the people, but you had no motivation to save them other than "to beat that game." Majora's Mask was different. You connected with everyone. You got to know them, you helped them live, made there lives better. You had a motivation to save them other than beating the game.

I just played through Link to the Past not long ago, and I have to say it didn't survive the test of time. It's pretty boring nowadays. :/

Nerd May 23rd, 2004 06:23 PM

Majora's Mask is indeed a great game. The only beef I have with it is that it's too short. I was devestated when I found out the fourth dungeon was the last.

whoreable May 23rd, 2004 08:34 PM

adventure of link is the bomb yall
man nintendo had some serious balls back then to take such a hit as zelda and change the format so much

majoras mask was boring

James May 23rd, 2004 08:41 PM

It wasn't so much boring, as it was frustrating. Having to return to the first day over and over again got annoying, especially since (I think) there were some tasks that would reset each time.

It's still an enjoyable game. But really felt more like it should have been tacked on to OoT as an unlockable.

I think we can all agree, though, that OoT is the peak of Zelda games.

Shostie May 23rd, 2004 08:50 PM

I'm not sure I can agree to that. I hold A Link to the Past very near and dear to my heart. It's a great game. I still remember playing it so long ago, beating that third palace and heading to the boss thinking, "This is it???" And then off I go into the dark world... New enemies, the endless exploration searching for that last quarter-heart container, wondering, just how the hell am I supposed to get up there...?

They just don't make them like they used to these days...

*sigh*

bigtimecow May 23rd, 2004 10:08 PM

hey wait a second.

does majora's masks have ANYTHING to do with zelda?

OR JUST ABOUT LINK GETTING SOME GAY HALLOWEEN MASKS SO HE CAN PARTY WITH GILLIGAN'S ISLAND?

this game was not in any way what-so-ever allowed to have the name ZELDA included in the title.

James May 23rd, 2004 10:11 PM

The same could be said of any Zelda game then. They hardly ever have anything to do with that bitch.

Same here, but the countless Mini-Dungeons and over all length of the 4 Main Dungeons soured me on that game.

Windwaker was more enjoyable then MM.

My most hated parts in the 3 new Zelda Games.
The Fairy Find in MM.
The Sailing in WW.
The Water Temple's in both MM and OoT.
The Bottom of the Well in OoT.
The Side Quests in MM.

eggyolk May 23rd, 2004 10:44 PM

WHY DONT YOU GET OUT OF MY THREAD

Rongi May 23rd, 2004 10:48 PM

this isn't your thread, dumbass

Comrade Rocket May 23rd, 2004 10:54 PM

I liked Majoras Mask way more than OoT, i won't deny OoT was good, in fact its another of my fav's. If i had to list them it would be...

1. Majoras Mask
2. OoT
3. Link to the Past (got it on GBA, YO)

DamnthatDavid May 24th, 2004 03:03 AM

What is your impression of this new Dark Zelda game in the making?

Seeing how you picked one of the only other Darkish themed Zelda as your favorite.

Comrade Rocket May 24th, 2004 03:24 AM

I think it looks WONDERFUL. I like darker games, its the goth in me coming out and i dont even have to sack the vandles.

yes, the new realistic one (even if some monsters have a cartoonish quality) is more commanly known as the Dark Zelda, seeing how it is "dark"

Krythor May 24th, 2004 06:35 PM

I wonder if they'll ever take advantage of Link being a different person every game or two and kill him off for a change.
