This is my first picture in quite a while, hopefully accounting for the errors. ;o

tattoos are hot shit

The picture is awesome. The only thing that I see that doesn't really work with the rest is the jaw. It makes the head look tiny and the mouth look odd.

But still awesome. :)

What technique do you use?

Whenever I try to make something like that I always create in pencil draw over the lines i like in pen and than scan to photoshop. I symplify it so I get rid of all the pencil lines. But when I go to color it I have to shade in photoshop which I always suck at :(

Try to use layers on different layer effects, and pile them on. :o

And i never use a brush at over 30% opacity and 40% flow, or the default brushes - I always use the water color effects ones. ;0

Whenever I color, I use a hard brush at 100% opacity, and set the layer I'm painting on to multiply. If I'm just doing a color job and not shading.

I like that "movement" scribbly effect in the torso and arms.

6/10 but i really like the style so 8/10
