I love GTA, and when i saw how DRIV3R looked i said to myself, i must buy it. but then i saw the reviews in almost every game ranking site and it was bad. so i ask to thosse who played it should i buy it?
also discuss how you feel about this let down

:( - I haven't played it, but based on reviews, its good on the driving and poor with the shooting on foot action and that's quite unfortunate because these kinds of 3rd person driving and shooting genres are favourites of mine.

You know reviews of any sort are not to be trusted (even if they are right anyway). It's best to try it yourself and then buy it.

:( - I rented it, the driving's OK, but I find myself still struggling trying to take quick sharp corners. The on foot walking and shooting action is quite awkward to the point I'd suggest to rent it first before buying it. Overall I give it no more than a generous 6/10.

I remember after playing countless hours of driver 2. I must ask, can you run over the civillians?

Sam reminded me. Who was it that said the third movie would be called "TH3 FAST AND TH3 FURIOUS"?

In my opinion the game was all eye candy:(

It is fun getting the hidden vehicles. Driving down the street going 100mph in a go-cart rocks ass the forklift is great to.

The games kinda fun to play.. but I dun like the handeling of the cars. :(

:( - I can't manage to make the handbrake to work for me as I would like and the brake/reverse is way too tight and there's very little sliding while taking corners.

I used to spend many hours on end trying to run down pedestrean, I simply had to see what happened. Once my car graced a pedestrean with a running error, he merely clipped into my care and nothing happened. I cried myself to sleep that night. (I forget if this was driver2 or driver that had pedestreans)

I rented it and enjoyed it somewhat. The mechanics are lame and lightposts are indestructable though.

It's not anywhere near GTA quality but considering what Driver 2 was, DRIV3R is not a bad game.
