The Magnetic Fields

Sometimes sad, sometimes catchy pop by songwriter Stephen Merritt. Nifty band, he covers a lot of genres with ease.

Ninja,

are you really familiar with Magnetic Fields?
I haven't heard the latest album, but I really like "the charm of the highway strip" and "holiday." Holiday is actually one of my favorite albums

"born on a train" is a great song off of highway strip, check that one out if you don't already have it.

Not really familiar. I just learned of them the other day, and just heard this whole album yesterday. I'll look for those, though. Seems i can't find a track by them that i don't enjoy at least a little bit. :o

Who'd fall in love with a chicken with its head cut off?
has to be my favorite tune, though I doubt the title is that long.
