I can tell everyone here is nervous about the election....

RELAX!!!

mburbank Oct 15th, 2004 12:36 PM

The question is, are you? It's pretty much a dead heat right now. Isn't that long ways from the days when you asked in a post iof anyone could forsee any scenario in which W could possibly loose?

Does it shake your blind simple faith in your ability to predict the future? Is their the slightest shade of that very human quality, doubt, edging in around the edges of your certainty? Or are you still the same human cinder block you've always been?

Preechr Oct 15th, 2004 12:36 PM

DON'T DO IT!!!

Ricky Glue Oct 15th, 2004 12:41 PM

I think once you tally the Americans who hate W and and actually took the time to watch all 3 debates, you'll find that Kerry will take the victory at...hmm....my guess is 58%-42% I think Kerry has recently swayed many voters with his thoughts and ideas, plus he already has the votes of-The Abortion lovers-blacks-women-democrats-middle class-poor-etc.. Rightfully so, I think that John Kerry will be the one to "Take home the gold".

Emu Oct 15th, 2004 12:59 PM

58-42? That's far too wide a margin. The only way Kerry could pull that off is if he developed a breed of puppy that shits money.

Ricky Glue Oct 15th, 2004 01:33 PM

It's true. I don't make up political information and pull falsehoods out of my butt-That's the job for the republicans.

El Blanco Oct 15th, 2004 01:44 PM

Ummmm, just whose numbers are those? And lets not try to compare the tactics of parties. I don't see the Democrats winning any honesty awards anytime soon.

glowbelly Oct 15th, 2004 01:53 PM

some people are beginning to think the same way:

HNICPantitude Oct 15th, 2004 03:02 PM

Im showing 47.875% - 46.125% in Bush's favor... or is that just my republican math - using real numbers and all?

Preechr Oct 15th, 2004 03:05 PM

You really can't average the numbers on polls because they're all conducted differently, and you can't really get away with running out more decimal places than the numbers you start with, but the general idea is that it's about even.

HNICPantitude Oct 15th, 2004 03:11 PM

Well - unfortunately for democrats living in squallor in major metropolitan area, and waiting for their next handout, our wise forefathers created the electoral college, so that people who have jobs and pay taxes might also have a say in the matter:

Current numbers look grim... better start donating to the legal recount fund.

Kerry 228 Bush 284

sspadowsky Oct 15th, 2004 03:25 PM

Well, naturally. As we all know, the people who have jobs and pay taxes are Republican, and not a single one of them could possibly have any cause to cast their vote against Bush. It's only the poor negroes in the city who are too lazy to get jobs that will vote for Kerry.

Raygun's lonely days are over. He finally has a playmate.

HNICPantitude Oct 15th, 2004 03:42 PM

Now thats not what I said young man. Perhaps you should re-read what I wrote.

Preechr Oct 15th, 2004 03:49 PM

HERE'S A ROCKIN NEW POLL THINGY...

Supafly345 Oct 15th, 2004 03:49 PM

Perhaps you should buy a sarcasm detector.

HNICPantitude Oct 15th, 2004 03:55 PM

Do they sell those? Where can I purchase one?

Preechr Oct 15th, 2004 04:03 PM

Wav Link

AChimp Oct 15th, 2004 04:05 PM

I guess that's how they do it up north. :/

Supafly345 Oct 15th, 2004 05:03 PM

Oh I get it. You're not very good at that.

Ricky Glue Oct 15th, 2004 06:11 PM

You crazy republicans and your theories about the "economy's greatness", "Bush's popularity", and "Stardust and moonbeams" I think you oughtta recount reality and remember that when you think of voteing for Bush...you are in a sense killing butterflies.

Emu Oct 15th, 2004 06:36 PM

Your metaphor makes no sense. Just stop talking and quit making the rest of us look like idiots for being associated with you.

Ricky Glue Oct 15th, 2004 06:39 PM

You are stupid.

Emu Oct 15th, 2004 06:48 PM

Commendable comeback, Ricky. Will you write a book for me?

Big McLargehuge Oct 15th, 2004 07:30 PM

How can we take any polls seriously when they only poll likely voters? I mean, this election is going to have a bigger turn out than any other election in our lifetimes, isn't safe to assume that many of people who are going to vote do not meet the criteria for a likely voter?

Ricky Glue Oct 15th, 2004 07:34 PM

Very well put, Big. I couldn't agree with you more.....unless ofcourse you told Emu that he was stupid.
