Bill O'Reilly "On The Fence?"

Watch the O'Reilly video at the bottom. Crazy stuff.

The mission: undesirable video is great too ;<

I'm kinda disapointed that John Stewart has balls when he's on Crossfire but then O'Reilly is on his show and he can't do the same thing. O'Reilly may be slightly more moderate than his FOX companion Hannity but there's a long way from his 'fence' to 'fair and balanced'.

Jon Stewart doesn't hate Oreilly like he does the Crossballs guys. He was on Oreillys show before Oreilly was on his and all went well there too.

I think it's great that he's polite to his guests no matter what their beliefs are. That was his whole point about Crossfire was that it encouraged partisan politics and is tearing the country apart. If he was a rude dick to someone because he didn't like right-wingers he'd be just as bad as O'Reilly. Why would you want that? :/

Except during his interview with two of the Spice Girls. That was great.

I never saw that, what happened?

Yes, I agree with you and don't want to get too carried away with this but here you have a guest who IS partisan politics and all the lies, slander and spin and everything that goes with it and he doesn't even call him on any of it. I'm not saying he had to go as far as he did on Crossfire but he kinda tossed the softball questions to him, when that is the same thing he is accusing the Crossfire guys of doing. I know his show is comedy and I heard his excuse that it follows a show about puppets making crank calls, but he has an outlet where he has the ability to challenge these people and the corporate media propaganda machines that they represent, but he chooses not too... I don't know. I was just hoping, after seeing him on CNN, that he was going to round some corner and at least attempt to question them about such things. I wouldn't mind seeing O'Reilly sweat a little on a Comedy Central program. He can do it without playing into partisanship or acting as the Kerry supporter.

Whats that the republican on crossfire's arguement for why Stewart shouldve been harder on Kerry?

And then Stewart noted how dumb it was.

Ant10708 Oct 30th, 2004 12:21 AM

Wasn't* not whats

I forget the details, but they argued with him that British humor was better than American humor, and he said that America just doesn't have sophisticated comedians like Benny Hill, and then they sort of went back and forth until the commercial break.
