If your guy loses.......

I am just curious, what are the people whose guy doesn't win going to do.

Are the Kerry supporters on the board who said they would move to Canada or some other country follow through?

Will Bush supporters stockpile weapons and shelter themselves in their basements in preperation for the immenant terrorist attack (I've already got a 12-gauge on order)?

Wasn't this already covered in a 'Plan B' thread?

Jeanette X Nov 1st, 2004 06:14 PM

Bawl. Then I would get a custom t-shirt made with this printed on it:

I would've had it done now, but if Kerry wins, it would be kind of useless.

Oh ya, topics never get repeated.

When I saw that one, I just looked at the title and didn't read it. Its a few pages deep anyway, and I'm too lazy to look for it.

Now, answer the fucking question.

Ask nicely.

El Blanco Nov 1st, 2004 06:45 PM

NOW, MOTHER FUCKER, NOW!

I plan to respect whomever wins and to realize that this country is at its strongest when united, even if we're uniting behind a crazed mong who believes God talks to him!

One word: litigation.

El Blanco Nov 1st, 2004 08:06 PM

I mean after that shitstorm.

When some judge or jury tells us who the president for the next 4 years will be.

Guitar Woman Nov 1st, 2004 08:22 PM

lol @ Jeanette

AChimp Nov 1st, 2004 08:37 PM

I'm sure that Canada will be okay with letting thousands of Americans live here for the next 4 years. :/

Supafly345 Nov 1st, 2004 08:55 PM

I will think, "Boy, all the people who are upset sure are a bunch of fucking dumbasses."

AChimp Nov 1st, 2004 09:02 PM

That's easy for someone in Taiwan to say. :rolleyes

Ricky Glue Nov 1st, 2004 10:06 PM

Jesus..I actually agree with A-Chimp. BUt yea..moving to Canada sounds like a good idea. Chimp, where would I wanna live? I hear some cities are anti-american and will perform racist hate crimes on me. So where would be best to live for 4 years?

Emu Nov 1st, 2004 10:14 PM

"American" isn't a race. And if there are citizens gullible enough to believe that then I fear for the future of the country.

Ricky Glue Nov 1st, 2004 10:19 PM

I fear for it if Bush gets re-elected. Thus the conversation of moving to Canada. And no, Emu, you can't come with us...stupid.

Bass Nov 1st, 2004 10:20 PM

I wouldn't flee unless the candidates are lying about a draft... then I'd go to Canada (crossing the Canadian border is easier than crossing the Mexican border) after that I may travel to another country. I could probably last a while in England or France.

Of course if Bush gets elected, and there is no draft.... I'll just sit at home and complain about how my state is full of a bunch of right wing idiots.

Emu Nov 1st, 2004 10:29 PM

I wouldn't flee if Bush got elected again. I don't like him, and I don't agree with his stance on most topics, and it CERTAINLY won't be the prettiest 4 years of American history, but I'm having difficulty seeing this weird dreaded Busholocaust that everyone else seems to see coming. I think that a lot of what Bush could do politcally will probably just get turned over within the following decade anyway. Anyone can see that this gay marriage shit won't fly for long, and the No Child Left Behind act is bound to go down in the Bloopers section of your children's history textbooks.

I will stay and fight the good fight to slow down the desecration of our civil liberties. If all those who care about freedom leave, then it's not really being destroyed.

nah, that pic actually makes Bush look cooler than he really is, I would rather see him on a white horse and a cowboy hat fighting the Axis of Evil including Dr. Doom and Lex Luthor

Ant10708 Nov 2nd, 2004 01:45 AM

Is that Bush giving the finger real?

Miss Modular Nov 2nd, 2004 08:13 AM

In the past, I've talked about moving abroad. But I've decided that unless things get especially violent, I'm staying here. And even if I do move out of the country, it'll probably just be to Toronto.
