I gotta say that Azuregos is probably one of the most fun fights in the entire game. He's a big blue dragon that runs around Azshara a couple times per week.

Unfortunately I didn't get many screenshots since I had to run around and PvP to protect the main tank and healers. A bunch of Alliance tried to mess us up, but we took care of them quickly. >:

So I was playing WoW which was the first time in forever and decide to follow this guy for ages, and it was good because the monsters wouldn't attack him. So I'm doing good, completing some quests until A BIG DWARF COMES FROM BEHIND A TREE AND KILLS ME! :(

Then there was this big spider waiting for me when I found my corpse, and his lvl was '??' so I think he was very powerful :(

In conclusion, I'm much better at FPS games

I quit another guild because they were like "help with Strat UD" and I was like "nothx dun feel like it" and they told the guild master and he pst'ed me a FUCKING ESSAY about how "you are not what this guild is looking for blah blah blah we all need to be socialble and help people out even when we gain nothing for it blah blah blah so go or leave the guild blah". I fucking hate that I cant just solo MC with alot of work and time or something. Not my fault PUGs are so incompetent and lazy. Guilds I just dont have the patience or time for. I already have a job and school this is A GAME. Bah.

That'll actually get you kicked out of most guilds I know of. :/

The more people help out, the better the guild does as a whole and the more phat loot you can rake in. Of course, when there's a big difference in player advancement, the higher people usually don't want to help the lower ones. You should try looking for an uber guild, but uber guilds don't like people who've changed guilds more than they change clothes.

I spent about an hour farming Dark Iron dwarves for the new alchemy recipe and got two to drop during that time. Learned one, selling the other for lots of gold. :D

One of the best fights in the game, IMO. You gotta kite him around and click crystals to zap him with lightning and put a debuff on him that makes him vulnerable to a random school of magic. Then you put on more dots and collect your loot!

We can clear MC now in about 2 days but we dont have enough people who have finished the waterlords to summon majordomo yet.

Considering what it takes to do that I cant imagine doing BWL or clearing MC in 5 hours like some do.

I'll never see Ossiran because I have yet to be in a any group that can get past the 4th general in AQ20. :(

We took a week off, will be picking up BWL again this Sunday. We're going to make a potion-aided push to get our first Nefarian kill on Monday. I'll try to remember to grab a screen of the body.

We clear MC in 3 1/2 hours now easily and we have killed Rag with close to 29. It just takes time to get to that point. I still remember when we were just getting our feet wet, attempting a boss or two twice a week....

I liked WoW when it first came out, but when Blizzard forgot about the casual players I kinda got out of it. Where do people find the time to farm weeks upon weeks for this "epic gear," then sit down for 5+ hours in the endgame dungeons?

Seems like all this reputation farming coupled with getting the next tier of items (before another tier is released) is just busywork to keep people occupied and paying the $15 a month. Where's the fun in it? I've heard countless times that you "have to work to get to the fun parts." Isn't that what getting a job's for? And to play video games to escape all that for an hour or two?

The epic items are in the game to reward people who invest the time in it. You're not going to get a super powerful character for a minimum amount of effort in any MMORPG.

You can't expect to spend 2 hours per week and be at the same level as people who play all the time.

If you want your fucking epic item so bad just use cheats to get it, god :rolleyes

Yeah. That's what I like about the lower levels of most MMOs, but it seems like they all do this once you get about 50-80% through the "level grind". It does keep the subscribers paying, and that's the bottom line for a business.

No, but it's irresponsible to reward people who play WAY more than any person should. People have lost jobs, failed out of shool, and even died from spending rediculous amounts of time playing MMOs.

Now I'm not goin all Jack Thompson on you guys here. I've no reason to believe that these mouth-breathers wouldn't have lost thier jobs or failed out of school otherwise, but it seems like MMOs attempt to reward absurdly obsessive behavior.

I haven't taken a character to 60 yet though, so I don't really know just how much better this epic equipment is than what can be acquired by someone who plays for 5-10 hours a week, as opposed to 5-10 hours (or more) per day!

Its not sooo much better that a casual player would even notice a difference actually. Epic gear is made to make a difference in high end raid dungeons, so really the "problem" solves itself.

Actually it makes a huge difference, especially if you PvP.

I've got 7/8 Felheart and 1/8 Nemesis, and with full buffs I have 7100 hp now, which is more than most warriors. I've taken on three level 60 Alliance without epic gear and won with hardly a scratch, and not for their lack of trying. Without epic gear, I'd be sitting at around 4000 hp, and have about 200 less damage on all my spells.

Well, my new Shammie main is stuck at 43.

This game really isn't even that much of an extreme. In the time it takes me to get a level 60, other people could get 3, but I only spend about 2-4 hours a day just grinding away, and maybe doing 1 instance. Even with guild runs I can only afford to do that and nothing else.

Furlbolgs are the obvious choice now.

The Draeni listed in the bestiary aren't the same as the Lost Ones in Swamp of Sorrows.

I'd put money on the new Alliance race being Worgen. Blizzard said that when they revealed the new race everyone would understand the choice and say, "Oh yeah, that makes sense."

- There are a lot of lowbie Alliance and Horde quests that have to do with the worgen. Moreso on the Alliance side with Duskwood, etc. since the Undead quests only involve stuff like "We want to experiment on his head! Fetch it for me."

- Gilneas (just south of Silverpine Forest, behind that big closed gate) would make a very good noob zone since it flows into higher level zones in the same progression as Undead currently do.

- Shadowfang Keep is right outside Gilneas, and is the main source of the worgen. Several Horde quests mention that Arugal was cursing humans in the area (Pyrewood and the related quests are perfect examples of this... the humans there change form depending on if you visit during the day or night).

- Worgen are ugly (but awesome).

For me, the Draeni don't really make any sense. The only place they are located is a tiny village consisting of a handful of buildings in Swamp of Sorrows, and the occassional wanderer in the Blasted Lands. They don't really fit into the story anywhere as it currently stands other than "Yeah, we escaped through the Dark Portal when Draenor exploded."

the tier 0.5 questline is one of the coolest ive ever had. And the most challenging. Even though i have epics of all the items i'll get from it anyway I'm, really enjoying it and reccomend it. I'm up to the random boss summon before valthalak.

The other threads are good and everything its just when I stop talking about wow I start to sweat and my face gets all red and I get tired and confused. I could stop wow anytime I want I just don't feel like it. I'm thinking about dropping out of school and taking up a sex phone chatline job so that I can raid every night and masturbate to anime during the day as god intended. Sometimes I question whether I will look back on my life in fond rememberence or unfathomable sadness when I am 60 but then I remember that there are 50 different colors of basalisks and I still need to get my super armor set so that I can go in the sand colored dungeon and kill the 49th color. (Its teal btw).

I think I will soon be returning to WoW. :(
