A good parent will reassess their entertainment dollar when their kids are old enough for things like soccer, trips to the zoo, and birthday parties. One of the craziest most complicated boss fights I've ever done. :(

For shits and giggles I've bee loggin time into my sister's bf's 70 mage and I did Shadow Labs. The last boss makes some scary wierd fucking noises.

The grunting sounds that Gruul makes when you attack sounds like you're jerking him off. And he's liking it. :x

when i stopped playing we were on the second boss of hyjal. i liked how there was no real storyline reason to kill vashj or kael. or even to go after illidan. vashj was just kite striders and pass the cores. kael was harder, but mostly because you spend more time listening to him talk than fighting things.

So a friend convinced me to try a free trial of this game.

A red flag has come up in the installation process, as the game is only a little bigger than Fiesta but is taking 14 more hours to download than that did.

Quests and cities are placed nicely in favor of the Horde. Or so it would seem up t lvl 40.

The grass is always greener, I think. I've had 25 mans start an hour late because someone will get pissed about an Ally and the entire guild will start bitching about how Blizzard is totally gay for the Alliance.

lol, yeah. I have two 70 and two 60 allies. I can't wait to get to a decent level and go harass the allies. I know all their quests and quest givers.

It was easier for Alliance to level up for 3 years. They lowered the amount of XP required to go from 20-60 and now it's a bit faster for Horde because of The Barrens and the new quests in Dustwallow.

You can't spend achievement points on anything. Yet.

I've never seen the appeal behind WoW, since every other Korean MMO in the universe is exactly like this with no monthy fee.

WoW doesn't even have much to do with Warcraft's story, which is the only part I liked in the first place.

$15 a month isn't bad at all. Add it up over a year, and you've got ~$180. You could have bought 3 good games, ones you can play in a room with real friends, not "guildmates" who will forget you the moment you log off. Or, you can hang out with 13-year-olds in dungeons to get items that will become completely obsolete very quickly.

Plus, they ruined the story, and I'll be damned if I'd pay $1 a month to hang around pink-haired female Gnome Death Knights and blue space goat paladins, doing quests for mushroom men in a blue marsh. And the PvP sucks.

If it's fun for you, do your thing. I played for too long, but I can't justify paying any monthly fee for a character that can be bent and shaped by Kalgan at will, and deleted some day in the future :D

The game is on DVD and a lot of people are crying about that fact, but I'd rather have 1 DVD than a stack of 10 CDs.

I got half-way to 71 last night in a couple hours. There was a massive server queue, though. :( That should die down in a couple days, though.

I like the new zones. Lots of detail and the quests so far have been pretty entertaining. Yeah, they're a lot more of the same, but I found that there doesn't seem to be as much running around. Kill 10 boars, but the boars are right here and not 15 minutes away.

I went undead/frost but I think I might switch to blood because I only enjoy the game when I'm running up to things and hitting them with something. Which is funny because I never created 1 warrior. People got mad at me because my Warlock used to use his dagger and stabby stabby.

How's the gold acquisition rate?

I've made almost 2k gold off of quests and vendoring the rewards so far. It's chump change, but not bad. The real money right now is in gathering mats and selling stacks of stuff for 70-80g on the AH.

Gold is so ridiculously easy to get due to daily quests that if you broke in the game, you're probably a complete failure in real life, too.

Are there dailies for 80? Or are you still doing island quests?

There are new dailies all over the place. You can still do the island quests if you want, though.
