Lineup's pretty nice this year, but not as good as '01s. No Bouncing Souls or H2O this year. :(

sounds decent. last year really wasnt all that great :/ except for bad religion and death by stereo (i wish more bands would play some smaller stages).

I don't think DBS played near me this year. The year before had a really good lineup, but i think ANDREW WK, PTW and Autumn to Ashes will make up for all the other shit on the list.

ANDREW WK WOULD ONLY MAKE UP FOR A LACK OF SUCKING IF THERE WAS ONE BECAUSE HE SUCKS A LOT.

as much as i hate the idea of andrew wk and dislike their music, I have heard that their live shows are really fun.. :/

I thought that for the most part, last year sucked. Probably because I was too broke to drink. Flogging Molly surprised the hell out of me, though. In a way, I almost thought that they put on a better show than BR, but then again, Jay was drunk off his ass and wearing a kilt, and he fell down at one point and fucked up his wrist, causing him to play half-assed for the rest of the set, so that undoubtedly had something to do with it.

Okay, I usually keep my mouth shut about alcohol and whatever...

But if you need to drink to have fun at a show, stay the fuck home.

hell i will probaly go no matter what...I agree about the achohol. I one year gave this kid a ride to the venue, the dumbass just drank a shit load before hand and spent the whole show throwing up and laying out in a field in the sun....not my idea of fun and seems like a waste of 35 bucks to me...

Are From Autumn to Ashes that bad?? I havent heard much of them but what i did didnt seem that bad :/ ....

That band is literally just trying to exploit the popularity of emotional metalcore. Their lyrics are very melodramatic, their guitar playing (even on the album) is fucking horribly sloppy.

If that isn't enough, I don't know what is.

They had a demo before they put out their full length that was pretty decent. It didn't contain alot of the overly dramatic crap they threw onto the full length and it was done pretty well. More or less I just dont like what they are NOW, but after hearing alot of things about them personally from show promoters I know, I don't ever want to listen to them again. :(

Dropkick Murphys is by no means a sally punk band. Any band whose lead singer quites to join the fire department could not be sally...unless they were all gay and wearing pink fuzzy bunny suits, which they arent.(No I can't prove they dont wear pink fuzzy bunny suits when they are in the comfort of their own homes)

I might go again. That is where I met Blink 182 before they were big. Now they suck. >:

Sorry, I just wish to reiterate a point. I don't have to drink to enjoy a show. It's just that I went to see Bad Religion specifically. I did all that I could to keep myself from strangling every single one of the teeny-bopper "punk" girls who were there to try to get into the lead singer from New Found Glory's pants. That's why I figured that I would've enjoyed myself if I was drunk. I can stay sober at most shows, but festivals, all bets are off....


Sorry, to me, Pennywise=Mediocre Religion. At least, their first few albums did. Now they're just way to dull for me to handle.

I suppose it's sacrilege to like PW but i do and have for quite some time. I actually do not enjoy the B.R. esque anti establishment stuff. I personally dig their self betterment stuff.

Anyway, it's also probably not cool to like F2F but I do, a lot. I've seen them about 15 times all over the country. Western Waste is playing the Cali shows so I'm in for that too. Haven't seen a lot of the bands on the bill so that might be ok.

Honestly, I don't even go to Warped for the bands. I'd rather pay less and see the bands I really like when they play their own tours for a full set. It's more about looking at young post pubescent boobies for me.

Face to Face put on a decent live show, although I was really mad when they played Carson Daly's night show, and he says "these guys invented the SoCal sound."

I guess Mike Ness didn't get the memo. :(
