In a moment of truth and sincerity, I feel I have to say this-

Mitch Hedberg was in my opinion, the best comedian ever. When he was sober enough to tell his jokes, they were far better than anything I've heard...including George Carlin-and that's saying something.

Chojin and I were out IRL and I was trying to justify with him why this could have been a joke, but despite my efforts, Chojin merely replied "Dude, get over it." Then after several phone calls, the news had been reported to me that this horrible incident was indeed....true. After telling Chojin that this was not a falsehood after all, he sat down and said "Man...that bummed me out a lot more than I thought it would. I really thought it was a joke."

After that, our hearts hung heavy in a sort of sadness that is indescribable other than saying I could feel my stomach drop. Needless to say the whole situation sucks ass crack. I mean, Mitch told jokes that even James could get....I mean....C;mon!

So basically, to sum this whole ball of wax up, I just wanna say...

Mitch, we <3 you. :-(
