NEW SHORT: "FATAL LABYRINTH: CYNICAL RPG!"
Dr. Boogie has just uncovered what is easily one of the most cynical RPG's ever created. It's an old Sega Genesis game called "Fatal Labyrinth" and you should all check it out.
Oh, and don't forget to eat. :meat ![]() NEW SHORT: "FATAL LABYRINTH: THE MOST CYNICAL RPG!" -by Dr. Boogie http://www.i-mockery.com/shorts/fatal-labyrinth Enjoy! |
Heh. That's one of the first video games I've ever played. My dad was big into genesis when I was a little kid and would always be playing that but I couldn't read yet so I'd just watch and be bored. Then I tried it when I turned 6 or so and loved it. I honestly don't know why though.
It's still an awesome old game and it's cool to see something written about it. Nice job boogie. Edit: The point of gold making your funeral better is to give you more continues :O. In essence, you're buying more lives with all that gold you pick up. Also, did you ever toss a ring at an enemy? If it's the right kind, it does lots of damage:x |
Are you sure? I could've sword the rule was that you get checkpoints every ten floors, and you can continue from that point as many times as you want.
And yes, the right rings will make a nice little explosion when you throw them. |
It's been at least a year since I've played through it, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works. You dress up your grave and more people show up to it.
I'm a little surprised you didn't find a way to work in something about those later level sorcerers making your dance. |
Eh, all you do is run back and forth randomly. That's lame dancing by my standards.

I love this game and thus love this article. Awesome job.
|
Fuck off.
|
die from overeating? If anything this is the most realistic game out there.
|
I remember this game. I always sped through the dialogue, so I didn't know that the dude kept dying because he overate. I thought it was deadly poisoned meat! :(
