Starcraft 2 announced!!!
 

After years of waiting, we're all gonna get a chance to battle online once again. Blizzard just announced Starcraft 2!

This will be so much better than Starcraft Ghost! :D

From what it sounds like, it's NOT an MMO (*dance*). Man, I cannot wait to see the new footage. From the IGN live blog:

"Protoss colossus - huge unit that can blast out dual lasers and use long legs to traverse differences in terrain height - in the demo two of them obliterate about fifty or so zerglings."

I think I'm going to buy a new computer just for this game.

I'm really excited. I feel like we should all be cheering, drinking, and high fiving each other as if our favorite sports team won the national championship.

I bout crapped myself when I started WoW and saw this. Rejoice my fellows, for the sacred one has returned! OMG I'M SO EXCITED!

I think this game's gonna be like Warcraft 3 was... basically an RTS with RPG elements added on. I like those little missions where you get a handful of dudes and a hero character to run around and stuff. :(

I hope it has mad graffix and phyix.

I can't play any other RTSs after being spoilt by Company of Heroes.

Way too early to jump to conclusions about it, but from the look of the gameplay footage it looks fun as hell. Let's just hope for the best :o

This is one of, if not the best things I've heard all decade.

$20 says I need a new computer to run it.

But damn, am I hyped.

They're saying it has a unique "story mode" single-player campaign, so that means to me that it's RTS with RPG elements.

So perhaps this means we won't have to wait a fucking eternity for the game to come out like we've normally had to do whenever Blizzard has announced a game. I'm hoping for early 2008, which still feels like a long time but would be pretty fast for Blizzard.

So who's ready to become completely unproductive with everything else going on in their lives when this game comes out?

I have a feeling I'm going to put this game on my laptop and play it on my down time at work.

Then eventually I'll just be doing my work between matches.

well i thought we'd up to wc3 when it came out, but most people were like, too busy to learns slightly different game D:
