It's based on a sitcom plot where a guy ditches work to go to a baseball game, only to be spotted by the boss somehow (like appearing in the background of a photo in the sports page) but its reversed so that a baseball player ditches baseball to go work in an office but is caught because his photo was taken and wound up in the business section, which is silly and absurd.
