Blue Man Group: The Complex

This album is awesome. It has the best acoustic sounds I've ever heard, and a diverse cast of guest singers. This album shows humor, emotion, energy, and some of those vibey songs that Blue Man are actually good at.

The vocals on some songs are so-so, but some give it their best (Dave Matthews, for example). I love how Blue Man have an overly obsessive passion for percussion. All the custom instruments and over 50 tracks of drums on some songs. That doesn't even qualify as insane, that's ape shit!

Anyone else like this album? If you don't have it, immediately get off your ass and buy it. Also if you have the chance to see the live shows, I highly suggest that too.

I have their first album, great stuff indeed. The mix is damn near perfect... they know how to get their money's worth out of the studio. That being said, as cool as their albums are, it just doesn't compare to their live shows.

They're the whole reason I went to Vegas. They're so interactive and shit. I still think of that animation on stage in my dreams. They made music out of eating Captain Crunch. They stole my idea! :)
