Except their show is fucking fun. I was never a gwar fan for the most part. but the show was totally worth it.

They have almost the same amount of punk in them as they do metal (if not more), but that doesn't make them shitty (because I want to kill all the fucking punks out there). In fact, the GWAR songs I've heard are pretty sweet. Can anyone recommend what would be a good first GWAR album to get?

Violence Has Arrived is a good one to start with if your into thrash. Scumdogs of the Universe is a good all around one. This Tiolet Earth is also a fun one.

The main reason I love GWAR is because they're just a gang of guys having fun. None of this "We're gonna be huuuuge" crap. ust a gang of guys having a larf. Plus the fact that Brockie is the only guy I know who is more of an alcaholic than myself.
