It was going to be put to sleep or declawed, and the cat was completely healthy. I couldn't live know an innocent animal was going to be killed, so I stole it. The cat was my mom's friend's (the one that died).

Can I have it? I'll take really good care. Sing to it, Say supportive, loving things to it.
