Guilty Pleasures
 

What are some of the bands you like that you just know you should not. Mine are Slipknot, Green Day, and the Wallflowers.

umm, katatonia, alamaailman vasarat, the mentors, kyuss(actually i dont like them all too much, but i listen to them occasionally for some reason..), atheist.. maudlin of the well, cynic and aghora. There's probably more.

I'd say Manowar tops the list, but they know that they're being cheesy, so i'm not sure if it counts. Otherwise, it's Spineshank.

Speeddealer, the Berzerker, raunchy, lacuna coil and apocalyptica..... That's all I can think of.

There's nothing wrong with liking The Berzerker, it's just that the masks are kinda gay.

Me... Pressure 4-5, Tool, Soulfly, Cradle of Filth, Cold (14 Ways to Bleed on Stage).

As for me, I listen to such a wide range of shit you wouldn't believe it. Tom Petty, Amy Grant, Huey Louis... the list goes on and on. I never really worry about what people think about the music though, if a song is catchy and I like it, that's all that concerns me.

In regards to metal bands that some people would frown upon, I'm guessing some of the power metal bands that I'm into... like Rhapsody or Stratovarius. Why people would frown on such awesome musicians is beyond me, but there are plenty that do. It must be the goofy lyrics or their "looks".

I think mine would be Soulfly, Nile, Tool, and Cold...

and when nobody is around... sometimes... I like to listen to eminem :o

Are Rhapsody those guys with the record about a dragon? I think I remember some über-cheesy spoken parts about 'Fly, dragon... FLY!' and stuff.

That means their opinion sucks anyway.
