Dear Xupiter:

Fuck you. Fuck your Orbit program, Fuck your Xupiter toolbar. You and your god damned spyware can rot in your own festering vomit. I hope you all burn in hell, writhing in fucking agony. Your ever-so-useful product has done nothing but spam me with pop-up ads since it installed itself on my computer. I say it installed itself, because i just woke up one morning WITH A NEW FUCKING TOOLBAR. I find this to be extremely annoying, and absolutely useless. Your search bar is in no way useful or innovative. It's a search engine. You know, i could swear that my internet provider came with one of those. Gee. Automatic Updates are not equivalent to convenience, they're equivalent to useless spam of shit that i wouldn't buy even if it saved hungry kids in Somalia. I'd like it very much if every one of you fuckers to die in bloody, brutal death scenes one might find in a Friday the Thirteenth movie. Go to hell, you miserable, purulent fucking parasites.

Fuck You Very Sincerely,

Brian Lee

Rongi Jul 11th, 2003 12:48 AM

Holy crap. The same fucking thing happened to me. How the fuck do you get rid of that useless peice of shit!?

Mike Jul 11th, 2003 01:01 AM

Ninjavenom, AMEN! That useless shit-storm of a toolbar is plaguing me for the 3rd time now. If anyone knows how to get rid of it, please post. Everytime I delete it, it just comes back!

Anonymous Jul 11th, 2003 01:15 AM

Rev. Danno Jul 11th, 2003 04:27 AM

Hello everyone, As we all know Rev. Danno is retarded when it comes to computers, I can't even make flash animation, or cool stuff like that.
How do I get rid of Gain, Gator, & such shit?

executioneer Jul 11th, 2003 04:29 AM

Ninjavenom Jul 11th, 2003 04:44 AM

Aye, Adaware and Spybot will do you good.

What i don't understand is how it could possibly be legal for such programs to install themselves. And if it's not, how-the-hell-come no one has filed a lawsuit yet? By altering your search tools and so-and-so files, (with out explicitly explaining that such changes would indeed occur) is your computer not being maliciously tinkered with by an outside user? Usually i see a big thingamajig for gator with the yes/no option, but i swear that i never saw anything with "orbit" pop up. Xupiter just installed its gay search bar and error page fucker-upper by itself one night. Before i removed it, the error page would switch constantly, so i couldn't press "back" to go back a page, it would just give me another gay fucking error page. Also, i would get spammed with pop-up ads for no reason. I was sitting idle on the boards while i was using winamp, and these pop-ups just flooded me, i had like thirty of them. I had to ctrl+alt+delete the main window for them to go away. Fucking gay, and utterly ridiculous.

Zero Signal Jul 11th, 2003 10:28 AM

Remember when those fucking X10 camera ads were at their peak? They would allow you to stop then for 30 days, and then they would start right back up. "Allow you"; who the FUCK are they? It is MY computer. >: They would always come back because they would sneak through in cookies and embed themselves. There is no hell hot enough for these worms. >:

AChimp Jul 11th, 2003 12:20 PM

You just have to disable ActiveX controls and always click NO. :(

Then run AdAware once a week to kill the shit that gets by anyways.

Drew Katsikas Jul 11th, 2003 12:28 PM

Ad Aware never worked for me. I just deleted all my cookies, and deleted stuff by using "add/remove programs". I was able to get rid of a fucking virus level spy ware. It was called free credit cards, and it would make 100 pop ups. I thought we would have to get my comp revamped, but I just did all the stuff I just said, and my comp was fine after that.

AChimp Jul 11th, 2003 12:43 PM

AdAware will clean shit out of your registry that Add/Remove won't touch. :(

kahljorn Jul 11th, 2003 08:17 PM

We should file a law suit against them. Civil complaint or whatever it's called. Steal all those bitches ill-begotten money.

SLjimbo Jul 11th, 2003 09:30 PM

There's talk of a "Anti-Spam" bill going around now that there's a Federal "Do Not Call" List. I'd be glad if they do the same for spam.

kahljorn Jul 11th, 2003 09:51 PM

One of my e-mail accounts got fucked over from spam. It caused emotional damage. Larry H. Parker won me 2.1 billion monopoly dollars.

thenoor15 Jul 16th, 2003 03:06 PM

i finally got rid of that fucking xupiter shit. Goddamn their fucking spyware. I downloaded this spybot destroyer called Spybot - Search & Destroy. It works, i have no popups anymore. But fuck xupiter to hell.

Anonymous Jul 16th, 2003 05:34 PM

i still gets tons of pop-ups from nothing and i've already run ad-aware and spybot :<

Spooky Jul 16th, 2003 07:37 PM

It's all Kazaa's fault. Stupid, spyware adding, sweet-porn providing bastards. :(

sadie Jul 17th, 2003 02:44 AM

kazaa lite. :rolleyes

Helm Jul 17th, 2003 02:04 PM

I edit my registry (regedit.exe in windows 98 directory. Not sure about ME or XP but it should be somewhere in there) on my own and clean up the shit I don't want. I don't trust Adaware either :( But if you do the same, be careful or you could serious shit if you fuck up an important registry entry.

executioneer Jul 20th, 2003 09:07 AM

kazaa lite does popups from nowhere :(
