1984

A wholly depressing book. If anyone else has read it, please post your opinions here.

You are mistaken. That other thread I started was about 1984 becoming a reality. This thread is about people's opinions on the book itself.

DAMN YOU AND YOUR OBSCURE LITERATURE.

I apologize. I was away yet again for a week, with no access to a computer. I forgot I posted that.

Obscure? Hardly. This book has left a huge footprint in our society and culture, one that can be heard even in every day language.

Shut up.

Is the thing on the right in your avatar a breaded shrimp?

Edit: I like to masturbate

Edit2: Everyone I know has read 1984

It was great!!! My favorite part was when the Tigers won the World Series against the San Diego Padres. My favorite player was Chet Lemon... When I played Intellivision baseball I would pretend that every batter was Chet Lemon, until they struck out or whatever, and then I'd be all like, that wasn't Chet Lemon... but if they hit a home run, then I'd be all like... CHET LEMON!!!

1984.
