Raising money for zombie comedy/horror film.

I've already mentioned this in the past, and now I'm thinking I'm going to start trying to raise money for I-Mockery's first film. The plan is like this...

1) I'll have a page on the site where people will be asked to make a donation towards the production of the film (it can be $1.00, $100.00, etc... whatever the individual can afford). If possible, I'll have something fun each month(even if it's just a desktop wallpaper) to give to anybody who donates. If someone donates a certain amount by the time the film gets made, they'll be thanked in the film credits (either using their real name or any alias they want). I'll also ask people that if they know anybody who would be interested in being a producer (*coughINVESTORcough*) to have them contact me. There's also the possibility of people who donate a certain amount to actually have a small cameo in the zombie film.

2) I will be holding some "zombie charity" auctions on eBay at some point. I'll be selling random things including a large, brand-new Domo-Kun plush straight from Japan, extremely limited original copies of Visionary Darkness (the print 'zine I did in high school, long before I-Mockery ever came to be), and more.

3) Re says she'll help out my zombie cause by drawing/painting/building various zombie creations that we can auction off on eBay.

I have one zombie movie in particular that I really want to film, but if I can't raise enough money for that one, I have other zombie flicks that I could film instead and then use those to raise money for the huge zombie flick.

Anyway, what do you guys think about this? I'm not used to just asking people to donate for shit, I've always avoided accepting site donations (and probably always will unless things get really really bad), so this is new territory for me. Any suggestions to help improve the fundraising/charity/etc would be greatly appreciated. And if any of you have ways that you think you could contribute, by all means let me know.

Thanks,

-RoG-

I recently got a job delivering money to a bank; it's about $A75,000
a day to deliver, the highest was 2 mill (although alot of it is in cheques, most is cash).

I've been seriously thinking about taking the money, if it gets higher than 2 mill I'm moving to Venezuela.

If you are willing to travel and willing to bash me over the head, I'll split it 50-50. There is no danger involved.

Rog,

you just did a radio interview for Alabama, did you not? Well, if any more offers come along, say you get put on the radio in a bigger market, or even one day SYNDICATED RADIO :hypno , you could squeeze a mention in there. You could fit it in perfectly if you get interviewed and they ask you any questions about the site, throwing this in as something you wish to do in addition to I-Mockery.

I'm willing to donate as soon as I can, but I'm hitting the slow season and cash is getting a little harder to come by, but I'll throw down a few when I can.

Ya I'll donate some. Sounds like a worthwhile cause for my summer job money that won't go anywhere else except food and video games :).

Speaking of which, how would I go about donating to the website/boards and getting a title and such?

Also depending on how big the Domo Kun is I may have to get that too. (The bigger the better of course)

Let me star in it and I promise not to make and release MY zombie movie at the same time (which would destroy any and all chance of your zombie movie becoming successful because my zombie movie will be way better)

Making your very own low budget zombie/comedy film. Very Sam Raimi =) I like it.

But I'm not bling blingin' at the moment.
