I've never been more pissed that I don't have a wii. But we can't all be God...or lucky as hell. Now my only real incentive as far as this game is concerned is to help my friend get it so I can mooch of her to play it. And if captain falcon isn't in it Ganondorf better be a the least.

Getting it in the morning. EB games called twice to make sure I knew that my copy was there. Then the second time they told me that I had 2 copies waiting for me. Got it today, it's really awesome. I've already unlocked acoupla characters too :o

About fifteen other friends and I got this at midnight and played it until 9 this morning (eight hours with daylight savings), here are some thoughts.

• Kirby got MUCH better, and Yoshi has replaced him as the worst character in the game.
• Heavy characters are no longer huge targets.
• Wario is extremely responsive and will probably go far.
• Fox and Falco have been toned down, thank God, but Marth is still running wild.
• Lucas is absolutely everything I've ever wanted in a character.
• Playing Snake is incredibly satisfying.
• Ike has a reputation for being the best new character, but I really don't see it.
• Diddy Kong will likely be high tier if not top.
• As much as I wanted to, I didn't like Olimar. About six other people at the party loved him, though.
• Sonic's moves are puzzling at first.
• Luigi has a Gordon Freeman costume.
• All of the assist trophies are incredibly strong, but Waluigi is by and large the strongest. He's the one you'll be hoping for.
• Some final smashes that I thought were going to be terrible ended up being absolutely fantastic, and PK Starstorm is the biggest surprise.

The game is absolutely phenomenal. I just wish the online worked.

So far for the new characters, I really like diddy kong and lucas. Ike is pretty cool too. I wanna beat the adventure mode thing before unlocking everyone.

Now I'm just going to feel left out until I get the game in a week or two, and by that time everyone'll be so fucking good at it that I'll have no way to get better.

something similar, there's some youtube videos of someone who used action replay to replace character's "movesets" with other characters. one switch was sonic with fox's moveset, and instead of dropping the spring he drops an r-wing. interesting stuff.

The more I play with him, the more I think Lucas is damn near broken. Maybe someone just has to come by and put me in my place but for right now, I don't see how anyone could beat a good Lucas player. Somebody was saying there are really good counterpicks but I honestly can't see it.

Apparently there are already some really sick-nasty Olimar players out there. Dedede is crazy fun to play, but I haven't hit ANYONE with the charged rocket-hammer...does it do a lot of damage?

i love lucas' up smash. it takes a while to unload but god is it powerful. and his up special is sooooo much better than ness'.

and i have no idea about the hammer as i also have not seen it connect.
