Hey whats going on round here?

I started nursing school, so I have been very preoccupied I'm sure you all noticed and could barely bring yourselves to get out of bed every morning.

But just thought I would drop by, while my computer is actually working, sometimes I have to refresh it 5 or 6 times just to get on any site. Any suggestions.

You're going to become a nurse and burn out in three years and then instead of being 25 and unhappy and trying to find a good career you'll be 30 and unhappy and trying to find something, anything, that isn't pure hell.

uh...have you scanned for spyware?

MarioRPG Sep 21st, 2007 03:07 PM

My mother is a nurse and she hates it. Just a heads up.

MisSFiT Sep 21st, 2007 09:52 PM

No I haven't scanned for spyware but I'll try it thanks.

Yeah I know that almost everyone that becomes a nurse will most likely tell you NOT to become one. But that doesn't make it a bad career. Everyone is different and just because your mom hates it doesn't mean everyone that chooses to become a nurse will. What does she hate about it so much?

And I'd rather be 30 and unhappy, but making a decent living rather than being 30 and unhappy waiting tables. :\

I may as well kill myself now if I can't be happy at 30.

Would this school in any way be a "sexy" nurse school?

A lot of people come for nursing degrees at my college. I hate people in general and don't see why anyone would actually want to become a nurse.

MisSFiT Sep 24th, 2007 09:35 PM

He's right there aren't any, well, very many I should say.

And most people want to do nursing for the simple reason you only have to go to school for a little less than 2 years and you make atleast $45,000 your first year. Alot of people that are in the program won't admit to that but it's true.
