First comment? Whoa. Destroyer rules...4 asses. Yes.

Kiss are a strange band. Somehow they have infiltrated Melbourne in Australia, and established a Kiss Army barracks there. My brother has always wanted to see them live. Considering what I saw of Kiss Symphony on DVD, I can't blame him.

You haven't seen or heard a concert until you've seen kiss live and front row. My mom had dropped me off for the concert in hershey park and said she could hear the music when she was well over 7 blocks away from the stadium. and the show live...its just amazing.

kiss was also one of the majore inspration for twisted sister

KISS, while not the most talented of bands, has the best stage presence of any band I have ever seen live. I don't think the original 4 are touring now sadly. I got the chance to see them in their original 4 incarnation touring with Aerosmith. Best concert I ever saw.

Good Band, Great Album... Better that they at least appear to have retired with their dignity intact....
|
I always thought it was Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley's greed that kept the band alive.

The veritable apotheosis for 70's kitscherama. A tough album to follow up on. And a nice Ken Kelly cover painting. If Sweet Pain doesn't sound like Ace Frehely's solos that cuz it aint.

I only heard a few songs and I thought they were good then later on I heard the whole live symphony album and I found it to make their songs sound so good. I love how Love Machine and Black Diamond sound so fucking epic though the singing and lyrics can annoy me but overall pretty amazing.
|
Yeah, Ace was absent for most of this album, wasn't he? Have you ever heard that guy interviewed? He's, like, dumb as a post. They didn't call him 'space ace' for nothing.

Hell yeah. Pioneers of sweet, sweet Hair Metal, the music of the Gods.

KISS = glam-rock version of The Beatles in clown makeup
At least The Beatles didn't venture into the disco music genre... |
