I thought I had epilepsy once

and when I woke up, my pillow was gone

do you really have epilepsy :<

I seriously am more scared of seizures than anything else in the entire world.

It's a really, really deep seated fear that I'll never know the cause of, although that scene in Brave Little Toaster is suspect.

i do hope IS is not taking me seriously because i srsly lurve him

and yes, he does have epilepsy

About 8 or 9 years ago my older brother had a seizure in the passenger seat of my sister's car. I had to wrap my arms around him from the back seat to hold him down. To this day it was the scariest moment of my life.

I just kinda blank out, I never remember my seizures. I have the tonic-clonic type, which is the most well known. afterwards, I always feel really weird about them, everything is very surreal, and very depressing during the next few days. :<

is there a way to just kinda filter finland from the boards entirely? not the word, but the nation. I don't think it's brought us anything but pain.

I wanted to ask earlier how often you have them, but that doesn't matter so much as that you even have them at all. :(

Yeah, they cut it down the middle to keep it from misfiring, the bad news is that if you want to think properly you have to keep both eyes open at the same time. People who have had this procedure and covered their left eye and looked at a picture of a banana couldn't tell you what they were looking at becuase both sides of their brain couldn't communicate. If you were to cover their other eye and show them the word "banana," they couldn't tell you anything about that, either.

The brain is scary.

okay, sure. I have seizures and they suck!

really though, I'm in the depression phase of the ordeal and it sucks. each time I have a seizure, I feel like an invalid for the following weeks. it's ridiculous what it takes to completely get over these things, though it may be because they're still new to me and I haven't had to deal with them for my entire life. I'm currently taking depakote to control my seizures (and apparently it isn't working too well) and the primary side effects include major weight gain and severe depression, so things aren't exactly sunshine and ponies for me right now!
