I never have time to play games but if i do i play command and conquer cos its the best.
yesterday i was given warcraft 3.
i can remember like wayback when everyone was anticipating its release.
Basically, should i play it or bin it.

Fathom Zero Jun 16th, 2008 10:47 PM

Ehhhhh... play it.

dj bastard Jun 16th, 2008 10:54 PM

Just realized got the frozen throne expansion pack too.
Dont know much about the game, any description welcomed.

Fathom Zero Jun 16th, 2008 10:56 PM

Fantasy.

I basically gave up gaming when i lost my job and decided to set up my own business.
Now things are a little better, so occasionally i get a little time to play.
I love the gameplay of command and conquer and hate the recent trend of cutting to one v one on the boss scenes.
(got given a copy of starcraft too and enjoyed it.)
you probably can tell im not much of a gamer.
Am i gonna like this game or what.

Fathom Zero Jun 16th, 2008 11:15 PM

If you like strategy games with a bit of RPG junk thrown over the top, you'll enjoy it.

I usually spend hours building armies and such then see them all wiped out cos a customer phones and i forget to pause the game.
i think it took me just over a year to complete c and c cos i get very little time.
Any game i play is a long term project for me and i just think it may be better to go for something more recent, the problem is i spend around 4 seconds per year reading reviews and dont have a clue what to play.

At this point, I'd just wait for Starcraft 2 to come out rather than investing a lot of time into Warcraft 3 (or WoW :x)

I picked up Warcraft 2 Battlechest Edition a few months ago, and the nostalgia: it blew up in my face. Makes me wish I could still play a few games with my dad. Never really got into the later installments.

warcraft is one of the better series of games out there. it has an extremely involving storyline and is easily one of the best RTS series out there. definitely give it a shot.

STOP POKING ME

I didn't care for starcraft and warcraft as much as C&C. It took too long to get the action going, and while it IS more accurate in that you can't make a tank in 30 seconds (although you can in five), I don't have that patience.

I used to be a huge fag for WC3 but WoW's shittiness ruined that for me. WC3's custom content is superb, namely Defense of the Ancients (DotA.)

dj bastard Jun 17th, 2008 08:59 PM

Aaargh...!!
I got WoW now too.

Nick Jun 17th, 2008 10:11 PM

C&C: Red Alert for the PS1, was radical. :(

dj bastard Jun 17th, 2008 11:04 PM

I was pissed i couldnt play the robot from the core in the firestorm ep, yeah cyborg commanders are ok but i want the huge cabal robot thingy. ps, im drunk.

Guitar Woman Jun 17th, 2008 11:44 PM

The best thing about WoW is how male Dareni do the Tunak Tunak Tun dance.

LordSappington Jun 17th, 2008 11:51 PM

The best thing about WoW is now that fat pedophile doesn't come out anymore.

Ant10708 Jun 17th, 2008 11:54 PM

If you have very little time, WoW is the exact opposite game for you.

Girl Drink Drunk Jun 18th, 2008 04:25 PM

If his company tanks because an addiction to WOW, he can start an unemployment club with Geggy and Max!

But, anyways, yeah, you'd be better off just playing WC3.
