Ours sell the bare essentials, the last I checked.

I can show paystubs. I make $20.40 an hour for any time I spend as management. My base wage, for all other times, is currently $11.00.

I get paid at the management rate when I am management. The store closes at 10pm, and the daytime manager leaves at 5:30 (generally). From 5:30 until the time I clock out (usually 10:30), I get $20.40 (which I believe is the base wage for assistant managers) an hour. For those hours, I am "totally making $20/hr." I closed two nights last week, rounded off to five hours of management each night.

And yesterday, the one in question, I came in at 2:30, at which point the person in charge for the morning left. Yesterday, I got a full eight hours at "totally $20/hr."
