I Voted :O

First time I've ever voted actually. Lines weren't too horrible, they wrapped around the block, sure, but they moved quickly enough even though the polling place in our neighborhood was really small. Took just a little over an hour to be done with everything. There were no hanging chads at our place either, your ballots just got marked with lil' bingo-style ink blotches. I'm now proudly wearing an "I Voted" sticker on my balls. The left one to be more precise, cuz I voted for Obama.

So who else be voting today?

:aok

Dimnos Nov 4th, 2008 01:36 PM

I will be voting later today when I get off work. Ron Paul wright in baby! :rock

Seven Force Nov 4th, 2008 01:39 PM

I already voted in case something weird happened today that would prevent me from doing so (obama)

RaNkeri Nov 4th, 2008 02:13 PM

Didn't vote today, but I DID vote roughly a week ago in Municipal Elections ;)

kahljorn Nov 4th, 2008 02:38 PM

liquidstatik Nov 4th, 2008 02:57 PM

I voted for the terrorist :eek

Esuohlim Nov 4th, 2008 03:30 PM

I VOTED THREE WEEKS AGO.

I FLIPPED A COIN SO I DON'T REMEMBER WHO IT WAS

Sam Nov 4th, 2008 03:35 PM

I CAN'T VOTE BECAUSE I AM NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE IN THIS COUNTY BECAUSE I MOVED. :(

pac-man Nov 4th, 2008 04:53 PM

I voted last week the day before the early polls closed (Obama), which pisses me off now because everybody who votes today gets free coffee from Starbucks and donuts from Krispy Kreme.

Maxilor Nov 4th, 2008 04:56 PM

I Voted for Balack Osama.

ItalianStereotype Nov 4th, 2008 06:06 PM

Early voting down here. Went with McCain, of course.

kahljorn Nov 4th, 2008 06:08 PM

if anybody has a right to complain it's people who didnt vote
:NONSPURIOUS

Grislygus Nov 4th, 2008 06:44 PM

I filled out my ballot days ago, god bless the one good thing Oregon has going for it

ZeldaQueen Nov 4th, 2008 06:54 PM

Voted for the first time myself this morning (Obama). Now I'm listening to political news updates on CNN on a television right next to the public campus computers. :\

Tadao Nov 4th, 2008 06:56 PM

Does that mean you're 18? :(

10,000 Volt Ghost Nov 4th, 2008 07:22 PM

I didn't vote, I'm registered half an hour away from my house and past work. I'm hoping for 4 years of "Shake what Obama gave you."

Asila Nov 4th, 2008 07:26 PM

I just got back from it, we were in and out in 10 minutes. Early voting benefits everyone.

Emu Nov 4th, 2008 07:36 PM

Felon :\

I drove to work and there were half as many cars on the freeway. Early voting certainly seems to benefit those who don't.

Durin Nov 4th, 2008 08:41 PM

voted a couple weeks ago meself. And a damn good thing. My college has helicopters over it because we supposedly have one of the longest lines to vote in the nation.

Guitar Woman Nov 4th, 2008 08:44 PM

Tadao Nov 4th, 2008 08:45 PM

Nope, Obama still has ****** nose.

WhiteRat Nov 4th, 2008 09:12 PM

Had to register at my parents precinct as my drivers license address is over 3 years old. Used my brain and voted McCain!

Also voted to make sure that Al Franken doesn't get near the US Senate.

Zomboid Nov 4th, 2008 09:24 PM

Iraq vet here. Barack and roll. :rock

EDIT: If they had lengthened and straightened McCain's hair he'd look like Al Sharpton.

Big McLargehuge Nov 4th, 2008 09:45 PM

to all you first time voters that have been eligible in the past, thank you for finally giving a shit. (obama)

Kitsa Nov 4th, 2008 10:22 PM

I went and voted and then claimed my free mawfugging Starbucks. (secret ballot)

pac-man Nov 4th, 2008 10:25 PM

Damnit Kitsa, you're secret ballot is screwing up the essential "I-Mockery" exit poll.

Big McLargehuge Nov 4th, 2008 10:37 PM

obama is going to win.

Kitsa Nov 4th, 2008 10:40 PM

The really weird thing is when I first saw Obama in Chicago politics years and years and years ago, I had a premonition that he would run for president someday and win. So this whole thing is like a massively weird deja-vu thing for me.

pac-man Nov 4th, 2008 10:42 PM

Can you do that with sports betting?

Glad I didn't disappoint. Sorry you can't enjoy the fun and games down here. Maybe you can go vote for a Prime Minister or something.

As for Obama...like the guy, don't like his policies.

Zomboid Nov 4th, 2008 11:15 PM

Most people I know are more interested in American politics than Canadian. It's more interesting!

Kitsa Nov 4th, 2008 11:23 PM

pac-man: unfortunately, no. :(

We just did vote for a Prime Minister, and in fact we did have a lot of fun and games!
Actually it was a pretty pointless election, with the lowest turnout ever. The hated Liberals had one of their worst defeats ever though, which was nice.

Dixie Nov 5th, 2008 12:54 AM

Voted Obama just before work this evening.
And fuck Elizabeth Dole.

Asila Nov 5th, 2008 01:27 AM

Libby's gone and it's about goddamned time

liquidstatik Nov 5th, 2008 01:27 AM

oh man i voted obama but i still lol when i think to myself 'this niggas the president'

Guitar Woman Nov 5th, 2008 03:01 AM

Uh, he's not the president 'til January, guys.

That'd be sweet if you could. Just let me know if you have any premonitions of teams winning the Super Bowl or World Series like 5 or 10 years down the road. Thnx!

liquidstatik Nov 5th, 2008 03:27 AM

GUITAR WOMAN THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP

ItalianStereotype Nov 5th, 2008 05:32 AM

does this mean that green day will finally stop making music

Kitsa Nov 5th, 2008 09:19 AM

ItalianStereotype: THUMS UP!

McClain Nov 5th, 2008 10:21 AM

I didn't vote because my vote doesn't matter. I didn't go to electoral college.
