Do you still have the costume?

Will a new epic contest come out for it again?

puppetgeneral39 Oct 14th, 2009 07:10 AM

What is it about VHS that makes anything and everything look like it's from the 80's?

Kissarmy4life Oct 14th, 2009 07:23 AM

wow i remember seeing this in '06. man you were crazy about boo berry. course , that stuff is pretty good

BatmanJohnson Oct 14th, 2009 08:21 AM

I remember seeing this on tv. Did you pay for all that boo berry? Or did the tv show pay for a little of it?

LordSappington Oct 14th, 2009 08:39 AM

I think anything with RoG is going to look like it's from the '80s.

DougClayton4231 Oct 14th, 2009 08:56 AM

lol, best song about cereal ever.

NecroLemur Oct 14th, 2009 11:35 AM

Boo Berry cereal is manna from heaven. Literally - ancient biblical texts have been retranslated to confirm this fact. That being said (and it was... just now), I always receive a box every year for my birthday from one of my friends. And THAT'S what makes them my friends, and not my enemies.

Nick Oct 14th, 2009 02:20 PM

I wish I had some Booberry right now.

BurnPianoBurn Oct 14th, 2009 03:08 PM

I remember seeing that on VH1, and going, "man, I'm so glad someone else has such a passion for the only awesome cereal on the planet". I think I watch this vid every year you post it, and say the same damn thing every time. Keep up the good work RoG. Fuck some Frankenberry/Chocula.

Lothalis, I do still have the Boo Berry costume, and while we'll probably have more forum contests this year, I doubt I'll be putting the Boo Berry costume up for grabs. The good news is that they finally released an official Boo Berry costume which can be purchased in Halloween stores this season. Check it out:

puppetgeneral39, probably because VHS was all the rage back in the 80s and it's obviously nowhere nearly crystal clear as DVD & Blu-ray discs you see these days.

BatmanJohnson, read the text above... I said they (VH1) gave me their company card so I could buy all the Boo Berry cereal I wanted. I was more than happy to take them up on their offer.

Nick, Target stores have it in stock this season and you can usually find boxes of it near the front cash registers (if not in their seasonal Halloween section). Enjoy!

BurnPianoBurn, er, this is the first time I've ever posted this video. As stated in the text above, Dr. Boogie was nice enough to convert my old VHS copy to a digital format so I could finally share it with everybody. Perhaps you're confusing this with my appearance on the Food Network?

darkvare Oct 14th, 2009 05:06 PM

i have never tasted the greatness of booberry cereal

Thanos Oct 14th, 2009 07:05 PM

RoG on VH1 FTW!

Drew Bludd Oct 14th, 2009 08:26 PM

I REMEMBER this. I had no idea it was you, pal.

Julio Oct 14th, 2009 11:36 PM

So much Boo Berry after all these years and no ill side effects?

Mockery Oct 14th, 2009 11:44 PM

Hmm, I think the only side effect of eating so much Boo Berry was the creation of I-Mockery. :x

Doctor_Who Oct 15th, 2009 04:16 AM

So how many more bowls before your skin turns blue?

I love Boo Berry, but that cheap blue food coloring must have some sort of long term effects. I bet if we gave you an X-Ray we'd see that all your organs are already the same color as the cereal.

Godzilla Oct 15th, 2009 06:39 AM

Hmmm. They don't have it in Australia. Atleast. I don't think they do. I don't eat breakfast anymore...

Zounds Oct 15th, 2009 10:42 AM

Heh as it would happen I saw you on both the vh1 and food network. Actually I came to I-Mockery a bit after seeing the vh1 thing and was like haaaay don't I know him from some where? Then promptly ran out and bought my first box of Boo Berry. Yup one of those strange moments in life lol.

I suppose we need to get ya back on TV then eh? That or get Max Burbank a late night show on Comedy Central, what ever comes first.

Icculus Oct 15th, 2009 12:03 PM

Damn you Youtube...ARRRRRGGGHHHHHH!!! Now how am I going to kill 3:30 minutes.

wastedsage Oct 15th, 2009 01:35 PM

Hey Rog, did you know that they've also got Boo Berry Lip Balm?

Mockery Oct 15th, 2009 05:29 PM

Zounds, heheh yeah I hear that from time to time, people will have seen me on one of those shows and they just happen to be on I-Mockery. Similar fanbases I suppose.

Icculus, I just fixed the video, so now you can watch it no problemo! Stupid Youtube...

wastedsage, yeppers! I have two sticks o' the stuff. It's been out for years, but now it's more widely available at places like Walgreens.

StaleDonutz Oct 16th, 2009 12:22 AM

Is the Boo Berry Fruit By the Fruit new? I saw it recently at the grocery store and have never seen it before.

HowardC Oct 16th, 2009 02:28 AM

Don't speak too soon ROG... I dunno what you did, but I can't watch it in multiple browsers. Flash players = BAD! Youtube would (even though it's flash) be the preferred choice as google makes sure it works across the board even thought it breaks down a lot.

I hope you can fix it cause I'd love to see the segment.

Just for the record frakenberry is waaaay better though. I mean come on! Boo berry isn't even a real monster parody, he's a stupid random ghost! ;)

Dr. V Oct 16th, 2009 04:06 AM

Working for Target makes my Boo Berry love easier to manage. I have RoG to thank for making me aware of this Godly treat. Now I just have to try the Boo Berry fruit by the foot.
