Captain Beefheart died
Don Van Vliet January 15 1941 - December 17 2010 :(
A little late on the uptake. They already make posts like "LOOK WHO DIED WE BETTER CALL GW"
I've been outside for a while sorry
Aren't you too emo to enjoy the sun?
safe as milk is fucking excellent.
I listen to Trout Mask Replica to put myself to sleep :)
Mirror Man and Shiny Beast are probably his best albums, it's great thinkin' music. MLE: No, I'm a drug-addled hipster in a beret now, haven't you been reading Grislygus Weekly |
oh man, you like the garbage beefheart, that's right.
I never mentioned Bluejeans and Moonbeams or Unconditionally Guaranteed, you must be mistaken
I LIKE SHINY BEAST TOO
shiny beast has bat chain puller
that makes it all riiiight |
I only have Safe As Milk!
I might buy others! Edit: Oh yeah! Before I forget! ;'( |
Music is officially dead
The fuck, people? He wasn't that good. One of the guys from Throbbing Gristle died, but nary a word.
He kinda was actually
Peter Christopherson died. :(
Captain Beefheart was god damn amazing. To say he wasn't "that good" and then to mention Throbbing Gristle is a very audacious statement for you to make. Throbbing Gristle wasn't even a band unless you consider a congregated group of people that consists of pedophiles and transsexuals then yes, they were beyond a band.
edit: Tadao, you better not yell at me for saying this. |
He had only one album that I enjoyed. His sound was different and now he is dead. Whoopdeedoo
