Anyone heard of Leonid Afremov ?
 

This guy here is pretty good and his painting here, aptly named 'Colours', is one among my favorites. I absolutely love the way the atmosphere just splashes out. And of course, his ironic description of the dark, intimate and solitudinous night through the use of colours.

i've not heard of him, but will look into it
