Its a horrible song, and the Eagles suck.

That is one out of two songs of the Eagles that I like. But no where near my favorite when it comes to classic rock.

I have noting against 'classic rock', but the eagles are a very dull example of it. I have no idea why that song is seen as such a monumental achievement, its long, boring and not a great melody.

The Eagles are sort of just a lame version of country-rock. One should get some Flying Burrito Brothers or a Gram Parsons album for the real deal.

Yeah, I wouldn't really categorize the Eagles as classic rock, they're too country, acoustic, and poppy for that.

It is actually my favorite genre... unfortunately. Real classic rock is like Queen or The Who. Music that classifies as "Oldies" is not classic rock. It is the music that was formally called Rock, and not "Rock & Roll". Just so many damn Rock genre's have come out they had to change the name to Classic Rock to avoid confusion. I'm sorry, I may like "Jesus is Just Alright" but the Doobie Brothers are very unenjoyable (rock & roll).

The Gypsy Kings version of the song is much better than the original. Mostly because it's not performed by the Eagles.
